Bibury Trout Farm, in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Bibury, is one of the oldest - founded in 1902 - and certainly the most attractive trout farm in the country. Primarily a working farm, breeding and rearing high quality Rainbow and Brown Trout for restocking angling waters, it has welcomed visitors since 1965, who can see the water come alive as the fish are fed and learn about the life of a Trout! Numerous ducks, swans, Kingfishers, geese and other wildlife including the rare water vole can be seen and fed in the beautiful surroundings. The not so welcome Heron and Otter are also regular visitors.

Each year up to 10 million Rainbow Trout are spawned, up to one third being sold to outlets throughout Britain and occasionally abroad. The remainder are grown on and sold principally to restock rivers, lakes and reservoirs throughout the country.
Local hotels and restaurants are supplied with trout as well as the fish counter at the farm shop.
Visitors facilities at present include a quality gift shop stocking a range of souvenirs and gifts to suit all pockets, fish counter selling our delicious fresh and smoked trout as well as a range of frozen seafoods, fresh seafood being available to order, delicatessen, plant sales, play area, picnic and BBQ areas and free car park. The shop stocks locally baked bread, free range eggs, milk, cheeses etc.and an increasing selection of quaffing and superior quality wines, Westons cider and Hook Norton Beers.
During the warmer months refreshments are available and you can even 'Catch your own' in the small fishery - all equipment is provided and staff available to help, making it ideal for children and beginners! Cycle hire is available and organised children's parties are a new and popular addition.

If you are visiting Bibury Trout Farm there are a few parking options. There's a small public parking area opposite the Trout Farm, but this is currently cordoned off and replaced with two drop-off points for coaches. There is roadside parking alongside the River Coln with distant views across to Arlington Row.
There are 3 fee-paying car parks for Bibury Trout Farm visitors, the parking is charged at £5 for the day. To find these car parks please turn left at The Swan Hotel and follow the signs up the road. This car park is not visable as you drive through Bibury so a lot of tourists do not know it's there.
